Black Music Month
This week Akim Bryant (Pandora, R&B Programming Director) & I launched 5 brand new modes on Black Music Forever radio to commemorate the dance music and club hits from Black artists from the 80s-2020s that shifted culture and influenced some of today’s biggest viral hits.
Modes include:
VIBE (today’s)
FLOSSY (2010s)
CRUNK (2000s)
THROWBACK (90s)
GROOVE (80s)
Along with these modes Pandora will have its first interactive billboard and a Times Square dance activation featuring a set by DJ Miss Milan (Tour DJ for Saweetie & Doechii) and various dance performances on June 18th (**details to come).
